Ezekiel 19:11-13

New American Standard Bible

¹¹ And it had ^[a](A)strong stems fit for scepters of rulers,
And its ^(B)height was raised above the clouds
So that it was seen in its height with the mass of its branches.
¹² But it was ^(C)uprooted in fury;
It was ^(D)thrown down to the ground;
And the ^(E)east wind dried up its fruit.
^[b]Its ^(F)strong stem ^[c]was torn out
So that ^[d]it withered;
The fire consumed it.
¹³ And now it is planted in the ^(G)wilderness,
In a dry and thirsty land.
